We work out of the first floor above Jalaram Decorator in Isanpur. It’s a pretty easy spot to find because we are right opposite Paras Nagar. Ahmedabad is known for its heat, and our office gets a lot of sun in the mornings. We have some blinds on the windows to keep the glare off our computer screens. The office is just a couple of rooms. The decorators downstairs are always busy, so there’s usually some activity around the entrance. Our space is mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of wires. We have a small seating area for visitors, but it’s nothing fancy. The flooring is simple, and the walls are a plain off-white. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just us doing our daily work. Sometimes we go across the road to grab a snack or some cold water. The traffic in Isanpur can be quite heavy during the evening, so we usually try to wrap things up before the rush starts. It’s a decent neighborhood to be in. We’ve put up a few posters on the walls to make it look a bit more lived-in. Our chairs are the rolling kind, though one of them squeaks a lot. We just focus on getting through the tasks we have for the day. It’s a quiet enough place once you get inside and shut the door. We like the local feel of the area.
