Govardhan Gear

We’ve been at 3/1 in Dasharathbhai Estate for quite some time now. It’s right near Shakriba Party Plot over at Ctm Char Rasta. If you know the Amraiwadi area, you know it gets pretty busy around here. People come in and out all day asking about gears. That’s just what we do at Govardhan Gear. We don’t have a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. It’s a workshop. There is always oil on someone’s hands and the machines are usually running loud enough that you have to speak up. Some days the heat in the estate is a lot, but the work doesn’t stop. We just keep at it. Most of the guys here have been with us for years. They know the rhythm of the place. We don’t spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty for a website. Usually, we are just out on the floor making sure the parts are right. It’s a practical kind of life. You find us easily enough if you head down towards Ctm Char Rasta. It’s not a quiet neighborhood, but it’s where we get things done. We’ve seen the area change a bit, but our spot in the estate stays pretty much the same. Just a bunch of people working with metal and machines every day from morning until the sun goes down. It’s simple, honest work.
