At Shripad Developers, our office is right on Satyamev Vista Lane. It is a narrow enough lane that you might miss it if you are not paying attention. We have been operating from here for some time now. Most of our day is spent dealing with suppliers and making sure the trucks arrive on time. It gets a bit loud when the construction starts nearby, but that is just how it is in this line of work. We are not a big corporate team with suits and ties. Usually, it is just a few of us in jeans and dusty shoes. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and local zoning rules. Sometimes we have tea together and talk about how the city is changing so fast. Satyamev Vista is a growing area, so there is always something going on outside the window. We try to keep things simple and honest with everyone who walks through the door. There is always a stack of files on the desk that needs sorting. We do not spend much money on decorating the office because we would rather spend that time on the actual buildings. It is a practical space for practical people. Most of our clients are locals who know the neighborhood as well as we do. We just keep our heads down and keep working on the next project. The lane is quiet in the evenings once the workers head home.
