Shlok Realty

We are based at Shlok Mirabel, which is near Royal Homes. Shlok Realty has been operating from this spot for some time now. It’s a quiet enough area most days. Our office is right where the action is, so we can keep an eye on things. We spend most of our time talking to people who are looking for a place to live or work. It’s a lot of listening and trying to match things up. We don't have a glossy brochure for everything. Usually, we just walk people through the site and show them how things are built. There’s a lot of back and forth with the banks and the legal side of things, which isn't very exciting but has to be done. We try to keep our paperwork in order, even if the desk looks a bit cluttered sometimes. We’re just a small group of people working together. We aren't polished corporate types. We know the local builders and the people in the neighborhood. Sometimes things take longer than we want because of permits or weather, but that’s how it goes in this business. We stay honest about the timelines. It’s better that way. Most days involve a lot of walking around and checking on small details that most people might miss. It’s a lot of hard work but we enjoy seeing people get their keys.
