We are based out of K 78 in the ICB Flora complex, which is tucked behind the Vodafone Tower over in Gota. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s a quiet spot for us to work on furniture. We do a lot of wood and upholstery work right here. The space is usually filled with the smell of sawdust and varnish. We’ve got chairs and tables in various stages of being finished scattered around the room. It’s not a polished showroom like you see in the malls. We have our tools laid out on benches and scraps of fabric tucked into corners. We started this because we liked building things that people actually use in their homes. Gota has changed a lot recently, with all the new buildings going up, but we just keep doing our thing back here. Sometimes a piece of wood has a knot we didn't see, or a customer changes their mind about a color halfway through, and we just have to adapt. We don’t have a big delivery fleet; it’s usually just us loading things into a small van. We aren't trying to be the biggest furniture store around. We just want to make stuff that lasts and looks okay in someone’s living room. If you stop by, you’ll probably find us with a tape measure in hand, trying to get a corner to fit just right. It’s just how we work.
