If you’re looking for G. K. Solids, you just have to find the Khodiyar Mata Temple first. Everyone knows that spot in Gota. We are right opposite it, near the Mahalaxmi Ceramic shop. The area is always a bit dusty because of all the construction and the trucks moving in and out of Mahalakshmi Estate. It’s No. 363 if you need the exact number on the door. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the materials and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic outside, especially when the temple has a lot of visitors, but you get used to the bells and the shouting of the drivers. We’ve been here at this spot for a good bit now. The office isn't much to look at, just a practical space where we handle the orders and talk to the guys on the floor. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to get things done. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a mess, and then nobody wants to come out. We just keep our heads down and handle the work. It’s a simple business. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just some chairs, a heavy desk, and the smell of the industrial estate. It feels like home after all this time and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
