Goodluck Furniture / Bhagwati Furniture

Our shop is number 19 in Parshwanath Tower, right at Subhash Chowk. This part of Gurukul Road in Memnagar is always packed with people and traffic. We actually go by two names, Goodluck and Bhagwati, but it's all the same to us. We sell furniture for homes, mostly things like cabinets, small tables, and seating. The shop isn't massive, so we have to be smart about how we stack things so people can still walk through. It's a local business, so you'll usually see the same few faces here every day. We aren't big on fancy displays. We just put the furniture out and let people see it for what it is. The area around Subhash Chowk is very lively, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. Sometimes we are out the back fixing something, and other times we are at the front talking to customers about wood types or sizes. It's been our base in Memnagar for a long time. The floors get dirty from all the foot traffic, and we're constantly wiping down the glass tops. We don't use any high-tech systems, just a simple notebook for our orders. It feels like a real neighborhood shop. We know the other shopkeepers around here. It’s just how we do things—keep it simple, keep the shop open, and deal with whatever comes our way each day. No fuss.
