Our business is over in the Rk Apparel Park, which is in the Gomtipur area of Ahmedabad. We are right opposite the Shital Cinema and near the old Kalidas Mills Compound. This area has always been known for textiles, so it feels right for Kushal Uniform to be based here. Our space is full of long tables for cutting cloth and dozens of sewing machines that run for most of the day. It’s a busy, noisy environment and there is always a bit of lint and thread flying around in the air. We don't have a fancy showroom or a reception area with a sofa. Usually, if you visit us, you’ll have to step over some rolls of fabric or boxes of finished uniforms to get to the desk. We focus mostly on getting the stitching right and making sure the sizes are consistent. We don't have a big corporate team; it's just us and the tailors. Sometimes we get a really big order for a school and we have to work late into the night to get it all finished on time. We don't use any fancy talk about our work. We just take the fabric, cut it, sew it, and pack it up. It’s a very manual process and things don't always go perfectly, but we do our best to fix any mistakes. It’s just a regular factory where we work hard and try to keep things moving along for our customers.
