We are based at 2 Jyotinagar Society in Nava Wadaj. Our place is right near Saurabh High School and not too far from the Bhavsar Hostel. Because of the school and the hostel, there are always a lot of students and parents walking by. Gohel Furniture Mart and Jay Ambe Corporation share the space here. It’s a busy little corner of the world. We deal with all sorts of household furniture, from small stools to bigger cupboards. The shop is tucked away in the society, so it feels a bit more private than being right on the main highway. We’ve got a lot of stock squeezed into the room, so you have to be careful where you walk. A lot of our time is spent talking to folks who live nearby. It’s a local business, through and through. We don't have any fancy sales tactics. We just show people what we have and let them decide. The area gets a bit loud when school lets out, but we like the energy. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for years, and we’ve seen kids grow up and move into their own places. Sometimes we help people carry their new furniture all the way to their homes if they live close enough. It’s just how we do things here in Nava Wadaj. The days are long, but it’s good to stay busy with the tools and the customers.
