Godrej & Boyce

If you’re driving down Channi Road in Baroda, you’ll find us right across from St. Jose School. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows the school. We are part of the Godrej & Boyce team in Gujarat. The office is in a convenient spot, though it gets a bit loud when the school bell rings and all the kids are heading home. We’ve got a decent workspace here. It’s not overly fancy, just a regular office with desks, chairs, and a lot of papers. The weather in Baroda can be quite dry and hot, so we rely heavily on our old air conditioners to keep us going during the afternoon. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate rules that we quote all the time. We just show up in the morning and handle whatever needs to be done. It could be fixing a log, talking to a supplier, or just cleaning up the office. Our staff is local, and we speak to each other in a mix of Gujarati and English. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere, even when we are busy. We don’t use any marketing tricks or try to sound like we’re more important than we are. We are just a local office doing our part for a bigger company. It’s practical, everyday work that keeps us occupied, and we’re quite happy with that routine. By the time Friday rolls around, we're all ready for the weekend.
