Globe Electrical Industries

It's pretty loud here in Vatva Phase-1, but that is just how it is in this part of the industrial estate. Our place is at 79/4/P and we have been here for more years than I can count on my hands. Most days start early with the tea stall down the road opening up and the trucks starting to roll in. Globe Electrical Industries isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is mostly just us working with wires and components in the back rooms. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It gets dusty, especially during the dry months, but we keep things moving as much as we can. People around here know where we are because of the big sign that’s starting to peel a little at the edges. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to for invoices. Most of the work is done with our hands. It's a living, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes even Sunday if a big order comes through late. The neighbors are mostly into chemicals or plastics, so we are the main electrical spot on this particular lane. If you walk past the main gate, you’ll see some of the guys loading crates. That is pretty much our daily life here in Vatva.
