Global Cotton

Global Cotton is tucked away in the J.B. Tower on Drive In Road. If you know the area, we’re right across from the Doordarshan Tower, so it’s easy to find us even when the traffic is a mess. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while now. Our main thing is cotton, mostly raw stuff, so the office usually has a few samples lying around on the desks. It isn't a huge, fancy setup with glass walls or anything. It's mostly just some desks, old filing cabinets, and the sound of phones ringing through the day. Those of us working here have a pretty set routine. We show up, check on the latest shipments, and make sure the paperwork for the trucks is in order. The lift in this building has its moments where it takes forever, so sometimes we just take the stairs if we aren't carrying too much. The afternoon sun hits the windows pretty hard, so we keep the blinds down most of the time. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just the daily work of moving cotton from point A to point B. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three things happen at once, but that is just how it goes in this trade. We know the neighbors, and we know the local tea stall guy quite well. It is a simple place where we try to get the job done and head home on time when the day is finally over.
