We operate out of Saumya Villa in Ghuma, specifically at Door No. 9. Lights Effects isn't a big shop with a glass front. It’s more of a workspace where we figure out how to make things look right. Ghuma is a bit of a trek for some people, but it’s a good area with a bit more space than you get in the middle of town. Our place is usually filled with wires, bulbs, and different fixtures we’re testing out. It can get a bit messy, especially when we’re in the middle of a project. We have stuff sitting on the floor and on every table we own. We don't really have a set routine. Some days we are out most of the time, and other days we’re stuck inside Saumya Villa trying to fix a connection that just won't work. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us doing the heavy lifting and the wiring. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a polished reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in old clothes with a screwdriver in hand. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try to keep things quiet in the evenings. It’s a comfortable way to work. We’ve been at this for a while and we know our way around a fuse box better than most. It’s just about getting the light to fall where it should.
