You can find us up on the second floor of the New Laxmi Market in the Gheekanta area. We are in Shop Number 204. It is a very crowded building, and on the busy days, the staircases are packed with people moving up and down. We have been operating out of this market for a long time now. Our shop space is quite small, so we have to stack our boxes all the way up to the ceiling just to fit everything inside. We deal in various types of hardware and small components that people need for fixing things up. It is not a fancy showroom with glass cases. It is just a simple counter, some old stools, and a whole lot of inventory. The lighting in the market corridors is not always the best, but people seem to find their way to us eventually. We spend a lot of our time answering questions and rummaging through old drawers to find a specific screw or a small tool that a customer is looking for. Gheekanta is a loud and energetic place with people shouting and carts being pushed around all the time. We actually like the buzz of the market. We are not some big corporate company with a lot of rules. We are just a local shop in a very busy part of town. We know the other shopkeepers nearby and we often help each other out. It is an honest way to spend the day and we like it.
