We are located up on the first floor of the Vaibhavlaxmi Complex right in the middle of Gheekanta. If you know the area you know it is always packed with people and traffic. Our shop is just one of many in the building but we have our own corner at F-14. There are stacks of fabric and finished clothes everywhere you look. Sometimes it feels like the walls are closing in because we have so much stock piled up. We spend a lot of time with measuring tapes around our necks and chalk in our hands. It gets quite hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the building just right. People are always coming in and out looking for different sizes or asking about colors. Across the way is the Rajlaxmi Complex so there is a constant flow of shoppers moving between the two buildings. It is a bit chaotic but that is just how the market works in this part of town. We don't have much room for a proper display so things are just piled where they fit. We try to keep track of everything but every now and then a specific shirt gets buried under a pile of others. It is just a busy little shop where we work hard and hope for a good day. We have been sewing and selling here for years and the stairs still make us tired by the end of the shift. Most of our time is spent just sorting through the bundles.
