Gharwakhri Furniture

You can find our place in the Dev Nandan Avenue Complex. We are in the Sabarmati area, located behind Swastik School Modhera and right opposite the Modhera Vejal Gate. It is a good location because the school and the gate make it very easy for people to give directions. We deal with all kinds of home furniture. Our shop is usually packed with cupboards, beds, and dining tables, so there is not much room to walk around. We try to keep things organized, but it is hard when new stock arrives or when we are in the middle of a job. Sabarmati is a nice part of the city to be in. We get a lot of local families coming in after they drop their kids off at the school. They usually have a specific idea of what they need for their houses. We do not have any pushy salespeople or anything like that. We just let people look around and answer their questions if they have any. Most of our days are spent moving furniture around or checking the finish on a new piece. It is heavy work, especially when we have to deliver something to an upper floor. We have been in this complex for a while now and we like the neighborhood. It is a straightforward business. We show up, we handle the furniture, and we help people find what they need for their homes. That is our day in a nutshell.
