Ganesham Textile Mills

We are located right in the heart of the New Cloth Market in Ahmedabad. Being on the first floor of building 232 means we’re right in the middle of all the noise and action. Ghantakarn Mahavir Market Road is always packed with people carrying rolls of fabric and plastic bags full of samples. At Ganesham Textile Mills, we spend most of our time surrounded by cloth. The smell of fresh fabric is something you get used to pretty quickly. It’s a bit of a maze in here if you aren’t local, but we know every corner of this building. Our space is usually filled with stacks of different materials waiting to be moved out. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially when the loaders are moving stuff up the stairs. We don’t have much time for sitting around. Usually, there’s someone coming in to check a sample or ask about prices. We’ve been part of this market for a long time. It’s a community of sellers and buyers who all know each other. The lunch hour is when things quiet down just a tiny bit, but even then, there’s always something happening. We keep things simple here. No fancy brochures, just the fabric and the work. The fans are always whirring overhead to keep the heat away from the stock. It’s just how life in the Ahmedabad textile trade goes every day.
