Our office is at F/240 in Sumel Business Park - 6. It is the Hn Safal building, right across from the Hanumanpura Brts station near Dudheshwar Road in Shahibaug. It is a big complex and it can be a bit confusing for people to find the right block if they haven't been here before. At Genome Healthcare, we spend most of our time dealing with our distributors and making sure the supply chain for our products is actually working correctly. The business park is always buzzing with people from different companies, which gives the place a lot of energy during the day. We have a small office that is usually filled with cardboard boxes and stacks of papers on the desks. It is not a quiet place, especially with the loud BRTS buses running nearby all the time. We are not doing anything fancy like inventing new cures or working in labs, we just handle the distribution and the sales side of things. The staff here are mostly local people from Ahmedabad who know the city and the streets very well. We spend a lot of time on our laptops and answering the phones. Sometimes we grab a quick lunch at one of the food stalls downstairs when we have the time. It is a regular job in a very busy part of the city. We try to keep things simple and avoid making mistakes with the shipping orders. It is mostly about being reliable and showing up every morning to get through the work.
