Started the clinic at 139om Tower in the Satellite area quite some time back. Every morning we open up and get things ready for whoever might walk through the door. It isn't a very large place, just enough room for the treatments and a small spot for people to sit while they wait. The tower itself gets pretty busy during the day. Sometimes the lift takes a while so people just take the stairs if they’re feeling up to it. We spend a lot of time organizing the different oils and herbs that we use. It can get a bit messy with all the bottles, but we try to keep it tidy enough so we can find what we need quickly. Most of the people who come here live nearby or work in the shops around the Satellite area. We don't really do much advertising because word usually gets around just fine. Most days are steady, though sometimes the afternoon gets a bit quiet when it’s hot outside. We just sit and check the inventory or clean the benches. There is a tea stall nearby that we usually get a cup from around four o'clock. It’s a simple setup we have here. We don’t have fancy decorations or big signs, just the name on the door. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, helping folks who feel like they need some traditional care. We hope people feel a bit better when they leave than when they walked in.
