Ganesh Furniture (Isanpur)

Our shop, Ganesh Furniture, is located at A/52 Bajaji Estate, right on the Highway Road in Isanpur. Being on the highway means we get a lot of dust and noise from the trucks going by all day. We are situated right opposite the Avtar Hotel, which is a big landmark around here. It’s a very industrial part of town, with a lot of estates and warehouses nearby. We spend our time managing the furniture we have in stock and talking to people who pull over while they’re driving through. The sun can be really harsh on this side of the road, so we try to stay in the shade of the building when we aren't moving furniture. It’s a practical location for us because it’s easy to load and unload big delivery trucks. The shop floor is usually a bit crowded with different sets of tables and chairs. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is in order. Sometimes we sit out front in the evening when the traffic dies down a little bit. Isanpur has grown a lot since we first opened up here. We’ve seen new buildings go up all around the estate. We just keep doing our thing, selling furniture to whoever needs it, whether they are local residents or people just passing through on the highway. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way.
