Saraswati Electric Company

Saraswati Electric Company has been sitting here at Saraswati House No. 1774/1 on Gandhi Road for quite some time. Most people know us because we are right near the HDFC Bank, which is a busy landmark in this part of town. We are a small team and we basically spend our days surrounded by wires, bulbs, and electrical parts. It’s not a shiny showroom or anything like that. The floors are a bit worn and there’s always a bit of dust on the higher shelves where the old stock sits. We like it that way because it feels like a real workplace. You can usually find one of us sitting behind the counter ready to help whoever walks in from the street. Gandhi Road gets pretty crowded, especially in the afternoons, but we don't mind the noise. Being near the bank means there is always someone passing by. We don't spend money on big fancy signs or radio ads. Most people just find us because they live nearby or someone told them we have what they need. It’s a straightforward business. We sell what we have and we try to be helpful when people have questions about their home wiring. Sometimes things get a little chaotic during the busy season, but we manage to get through it. It’s just us doing our thing every day. If you’re ever near Saraswati House, you should stop in. We’re just regular people working a regular job here.
