Our place in Ahmedabad is right in the thick of it. Gujarat is a fast-moving state, and being in the 380027 zip code means we are never far from where the action is. The office isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a regular building among many others. Inside, though, we are always on the move. There are always maps spread out on the tables and people arguing over timelines or supply costs. It’s a loud, energetic environment. We have a small pantry where we keep the tea supplies, which is essential for getting through the morning rush. The heat in Ahmedabad can be brutal, so we stay inside as much as possible during the middle of the day. The furniture is a bit older, showing some wear and tear from years of use, but it’s comfortable enough. We don't really have visitors often, so we don't worry too much about keeping everything perfectly neat. There are piles of records in the corners and boots by the door for when we need to head out to a site. It’s a working office, not a showroom. We know the local vendors and the guys at the tea stall nearby. It’s a community feel, and we just focus on getting through the stack of work on our desks every day.
