You can find us at Chem Teck Engineers over in the Nilsin Factory Compound. It’s at Plot No. 25-26/4 in Phase 1 of the GIDC Estate. If you’re looking for us, we’re right near the HDFC Bank, which makes it easy for people to find the turn-off into the Shankheshwar Estate. Vatva can be a confusing place if you aren't familiar with it, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. We do engineering work, mostly focused on chemical setups and industrial parts. It’s a lot of metal, welding sparks, and technical drawings spread out on messy desks. The office part is small and usually has a fan going full blast to keep the heat down. We don’t really do the corporate thing here. Most of us wear work boots and shirts that have probably seen better days. It’s a practical environment. We talk about gears and valves more than anything else. Sometimes the traffic near the bank gets backed up, so we have to plan our deliveries carefully. The compound itself is a bit crowded with other factories, but we get along with the neighbors. We’ve got our own way of doing things that has worked for us over the years. We just focus on the job at hand and try to get the dimensions right every time. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know.
