Furnish Home

Our shop is tucked away in the Zanzar Flat building, right near NRI Tower on Judges Bunglow Road. It is a busy area in Bodakdev, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. We started Furnish Home because we saw a lot of people moving into the new apartments around here and needing things for their rooms. It isn’t a massive showroom like the ones you see on the main highway, but we fit a lot into our space. You’ll find sofas, some chairs, and cabinets squeezed in. Sometimes it’s hard to walk between the aisles when we get a new shipment in. We usually just have a couple of guys working here, helping move the heavy pieces around. The sunlight hits the front window pretty hard in the morning, so we have to keep the blinds down for a while. It’s a local spot, so we end up chatting with the neighbors a lot. We don’t have a big marketing team or a polished website; we just show what we have on the floor and tell people the price. If someone needs a delivery, we figure out a way to get it to their flat, even if the elevators are small. It’s just us trying to keep the business going in a part of town that’s growing fast. We handle the paperwork ourselves and try to keep things simple for whoever walks in the door.
