Fency Embroidery Work

Fency Embroidery Work is actually based out of D-11 in Kirti Apartment. Being in Shahi Bagh is nice because it’s a bit quieter than the main markets, but it means we don't have a big storefront for people to walk into. We do everything right here in the apartment. There are threads of every color you can imagine scattered around, and the needles are always getting lost in the cushions. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing on very small details. Sometimes my eyes get tired by the end of the day from staring at the cloth. We don’t have fancy machines; it’s mostly just hands and a lot of patience. My family helps out when things get busy, especially when there’s a big order that needs to be finished by the weekend. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s just a small space where we do our stitching and try to keep things organized. The light in the apartment is good in the afternoon, which helps with the fine work. We don't have any big advertisements. People usually just hear about us from their neighbors or friends. It’s a slow process, making things look right, but we don’t like to rush it. If you come by Shahi Bagh, just look for the Kirti Apartment building. We’re usually inside, working away on whatever project is on the frame today. It's quiet, simple work that we enjoy doing.
