Our office is on the ground floor of Dhanlaxmi Chambers, which is right on Ashram Road in Ahmedabad. It’s a very central location, near the Gujarat Vidhyapith. If you know the city, you know that Ashram Road is one of the busiest streets we have. There is always noise from the traffic and people moving about. Being on the ground floor is handy because we are always moving boxes and samples for our export business. We don't have to worry about elevators when a courier comes by. The office is a bit old-fashioned, but it’s sturdy and it gets the job done. We have a few desks pushed together and a lot of shelf space for all the files we have to keep. We do a lot of international shipping, so there’s always a bit of stress about deadlines and customs paperwork. But we’ve been doing this for a while, so we know the routine. Most of us take the bus or ride our scooters to work, and we usually eat lunch together at our desks. It’s a friendly place to work, even if it gets a bit chaotic when three different orders need to go out at the same time. We don't use any fancy marketing talk. We are just a group of people in Ahmedabad trying to sell things to the rest of the world. It’s a busy life, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
