We are based out in Mahuva, specifically on the road near Sadbhavna Hospital. If you know Mahuva, you know it’s a big hub for food processing, especially onions. Our place is at Survey No P 4 Paikee, right behind Kings Dehydrated Foods. It’s a dusty, busy area where there is always the smell of something being dried or packed. We focus on dehydrated foods here, which involves a lot of machines and a lot of heat. The NH 8 E highway is right nearby, so we see trucks coming and going at all hours. Our team is mostly local people from around the Bhavnagar district who know how the food business works. It’s not an easy job because you have to be careful with the quality, but we’ve been doing it for a while now. The sun gets really strong out here in Gujarat, which I guess is good for the business we are in. We spend our days checking the drying beds and making sure the packing is done right. The office is just a small part of the whole operation, usually filled with the sound of the fans and the workers talking. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just show up, process the food, and try to make sure everything is clean and ready for the market. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening.
