Essar Steel Ltd

We are based at 53 Ushanagar Society on Gotri Road in Baroda. If you are looking for us, we are right behind the Isckon Temple in Harinagar. It is a good landmark to have. The office is a practical space where we manage the business for Essar Steel Ltd. It is an older building, so it has a bit of character, though it’s mostly just a place for us to work. We have a few desks set up with phones and computers, and there are always stacks of papers that need sorting. Gotri Road is a busy area, but our little corner in Ushanagar Society stays relatively calm. We spend the day coordinating deliveries and talking to customers about their requirements. It is a lot of manual work, checking the logs and making sure the numbers match up. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they see our sign. We take our lunch breaks together and usually talk about things other than work for a bit. The afternoon sun hits the front of the office, so we keep the curtains drawn to stay cool. It is a very regular, honest way to spend the day. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to get the steel where it needs to go and do a decent job of it every day.
