You can find us at 5 Anjanapark Society in the Hirawadi area. It is located in Mahavirnagar, Saijpurbogha, which is a busy part of Ahmedabad. Our office is a simple place where we handle the day-to-day operations for Essar Steel Ltd. It is not a flashy corporate space, but it gets the job done. We have a couple of computers, some old chairs, and a lot of files stacked up on the shelves. The neighborhood is quite lively, so there is always something going on outside our door. Being in Ahmedabad, we are used to the heat, but it still makes for a long afternoon sometimes. We spend most of our time tracking shipments and talking to people on the phone. We don't have any big mission statements or glossy brochures. We just focus on the work in front of us. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that is usually when we take a quick break to stretch our legs. It is a lot of paperwork and checking lists to make sure everything is where it should be. We know the local area well and that helps when we are trying to get things delivered. It is a straightforward business, run by regular people who just want to do a good day’s work. We keep things simple and try to stay organized as best as we can without any fancy systems. It works for us and the people we deal with.
