You can find us over in Ramaraopet, Kakinada. We are specifically at 10/7/48 on Kopallivari Street. It’s a typical street in this part of Andhra Pradesh, sometimes a bit noisy with scooters going past, but we are used to it by now. The office is pretty simple. We don't have any of those modern open-plan layouts you see in big cities. It's just a set of rooms where we handle the day-to-day business of Essar Constructions. Usually, the morning starts with a lot of sweeping because the dust settles overnight. We have a few desks and some old cabinets that are full of project plans and site records. It gets quite humid here, so the ceiling fans are almost always on the highest setting. We drink a lot of coffee during the day. People come in and out, mostly contractors or guys from the sites coming to get signatures or check on something. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and asks what’s needed. It's a very practical environment. We have been in Kakinada for a good while, so we know the local suppliers and the way things work in town. There is nothing fancy about how we run things. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a regular life for us here on Kopallivari Street.
