Essar Construction (India) Limited,Hazira,Surat

We are located at Block No.780/2 in Ambawadi, near the Cross Road in Sardarnagar, Ahmedabad. This is the office for Essar Construction (India) Limited, Hazira, Surat. It might seem a bit confusing that we are in Ahmedabad while the name mentions Surat, but this is our base for handling the local management. The Sardarnagar area is very busy, and being near the crossroad means there is never a quiet moment. We have a functional office space that is mostly filled with metal cupboards and old desks. There are about six of us who work here regularly, and we spend most of our time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. The building is nothing special, just a block in a row of others. We have a small balcony where we go to get a break from the computer screens. The traffic noise is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. Most of our work involves coordinating the logistics for the Hazira site, so there is a lot of back and forth with the transport guys. We don't have a fancy lobby or any marketing brochures lying around. It is just a place where we come to work, drink some tea, and make sure the projects stay on track. The furniture is a bit worn out, but it serves its purpose for us.
