Essae Constructions(India)Ltd is based at 10, Gangotri Park Society, near the railway crossing on the Ahmedabad Highway in Palanpur. Being so close to the highway and the tracks means it’s never really quiet, but that’s fine for a construction business. We spend most of our time out on sites, but this is where the planning and the boring stuff happens. We’ve got our office in the society, which makes it feel a bit more like a home than a workplace. We handle various building projects around the Palanpur area. It involves a lot of coordination with workers, suppliers, and site managers. Sometimes we’re drafting plans, and other times we’re just arguing over why the sand hasn't arrived yet. Construction is a messy business with a lot of moving parts. We don't try to polish it up for anyone. It’s about getting foundations poured and walls up. Our team is a mix of people who have been in the trade for decades. We don't use much fancy software if a pencil and paper will do the job. The location is handy for jumping on the highway to check on different jobs. We just try to build things that stay standing and keep the clients from worrying too much. It’s busy, dusty work, but we wouldn't have it any other way. It is just how things get built around here.
