Our office is over at Devnandan Mall, specifically units 223 and 224. We are right on Ashram Road, which everyone in Ahmedabad knows is a very busy spot. Being opposite the Sanyas Ashram makes it easy to give people directions. We have been in this location for a while now. The mall itself is usually buzzing with people going to different shops or the town hall nearby. Inside our space, it is mostly just desks and a lot of files. Since we are an association for soap manufacturers, we deal with a lot of members and paperwork every single day. It is not a glamorous job, but it is important for the industry here in Gujarat. We have a small table where we sit and drink chai while discussing the latest news or whatever is happening on Ashram Road. The windows look out toward the street, and the traffic noise is just part of the background music for us now. Sometimes the elevator in the mall is slow, so we end up taking the stairs. It is a good way to stay active, I suppose. We do not have any big signs or flashy displays. It is just a place where work gets done. Most of the people who come by are regulars who have been part of the association for years. It feels more like a community than just a business office. We like the convenience of being in Ellisbridge. Everything is close by, which makes the work day much easier to manage.
