Western Trading Company

Western Trading Company is situated in Premium House, over in the Ellis Bridge area. We are in unit A-208, which is right across from Gandhigram Station. It’s a very central location, and the sound of the trains is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We’ve been trading from this office for quite a while. The building itself is an older one, so it has a bit of character, though the elevator can be a little moody sometimes. We handle a variety of goods and materials, mostly acting as a middleman for other businesses. It’s not a very complicated business model, but it requires staying organized and keeping track of a lot of different contacts. Our office is filled with stacks of invoices and ledgers. We haven't gone fully digital with everything because the old way still works for us. We don't have a big website or do any social media. Most of our work comes from people we’ve known for a decade or more. It’s a quiet place to work, despite being near the station. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time on the telephone. We aren't looking to expand into some giant corporation; we’re happy just keeping things running smoothly from our spot in Ellis Bridge. It’s a familiar routine every day, and that suits us just fine.
