Our office is over on Nikol Gam Road, specifically in the Sarita Nagar Society. We are right across from Indrajit Park, so there is at least a bit of green to look at if you step outside for a break. The Diamond Mill is the big landmark that everyone uses when they are trying to give directions to our place. Ahmedabad is a very fast-moving city, and the Nikol area has become so crowded over the last few years. The traffic on the main road can be a real headache in the morning, making everyone a bit late sometimes. We have a small, simple setup here at building number 30. It is mostly just desks, chairs, and a whole lot of filing cabinets filled with records. We do not do anything flashy here; it is just the daily grind of running the business and keeping things organized. Most of our staff has worked together for years, so we all know each other’s families and what everyone is having for lunch that day. Sometimes the neighbors from the residential society stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question. It is a bit of a strange mix between a quiet residential street and a busy business zone. The phones ring pretty much constantly from the moment we open the doors. We do not have a fancy receptionist or a lobby; you just walk in and talk to whoever is not on the phone. It is a very practical way of doing things.
