Elecon Engg. Co. Ltd. is based in Ahmedabad, specifically in the Bapunagar area. We are in Jagatnagar Society, Part-2, which is right across from India Colony. Ahmedabad is a fast-moving city, and Bapunagar is no different. There’s always someone shouting or a horn honking somewhere nearby. Our building is B/6. It’s a solid place with a small gate that we lock every evening. The inside is full of the usual office things like tables, chairs, and stacks of blueprints or diagrams. We don't have much air conditioning, so we rely on the cross-breeze when the weather allows. It can get pretty stuffy in the afternoons, but that’s just life in the city. We have a small sink in the back for washing up and a corner where we keep our lunch boxes. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really has the time to deal with that right now. We are more focused on getting the engineering tasks out the door. People from the colony often walk past our windows, so we see a lot of the local life going by. It’s a very grounded way to work. No one is putting on an act here. We are just a group of people in a busy part of town trying to get through the daily list.
