Durolam Ltd.

The office for Durolam Ltd is over at Omkar House, which is right on C.G. Road. If you know Navrangpura, you know how busy it gets around here. Our door is number 34. We’ve been in this building for a while now. It’s a standard office setup, nothing too fancy or modern. We have our desks, some old filing cabinets, and the usual chairs that sometimes squeak when you sit down. The morning starts with someone unlocking the main shutter and getting the fans going. C.G. Road is always loud with traffic, so we hear the horns and the buses all day long. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall just down the street. It’s a regular routine for us. We don’t really have a big reception area, just a place where we sit and handle the daily work. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. Most of the people working here have been around for years, so we all know each other’s habits. We don’t do things in a very formal way. It’s just about showing up and getting through the list of tasks for the day. Navrangpura is a good spot because everything is close by, even if parking is a nightmare. We just make do with the space we have. It gets the job done and that’s what matters most to us at the end of the day.
