Durga Steel Furnitures

Our shop, Durga Steel Furnitures, is at No. 8 Swastik Estate. We are right opposite the Moni Hotel on the Narol Highway Road in Isan Pur. If you’ve ever been down the highway, you know how much dust and noise there is from all the big trucks passing by. It is a very industrial area. We spend our days surrounded by metal sheets and the sound of welding. It gets quite warm in the workshop, especially in the middle of the afternoon. We don’t have a fancy air-conditioned showroom. Our furniture is stacked up where we have room. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, and we spend a lot of time moving heavy items around. It’s hard work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. Being in Isan Pur means we are in the middle of all the action. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People find us because they see our sign from the road or they know the hotel across the street. We just focus on cutting the steel and putting things together. It is a noisy, busy place but we like it that way. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to take a break until it comes back. That is just how it is.
