Dr Joshis Maternity & Gynaec Hospital

We are located at 60 Brahmin Mitra Mandal Society. It is quite close to the Jalaram Mandir, which is how most people find their way to us. We are also near the old Shardamandir Railway area, so it’s a fairly well-known part of the neighborhood. Being a maternity and gynaec hospital, there is always something going on. It’s either a new baby arriving or someone coming in for a checkup. The atmosphere is usually a bit busy and sometimes a little loud with families waiting around. Brahmin Mitra Mandal Society is a quiet enough area otherwise. We have been here for a long time, so we have seen a lot of families grow up. The building is number 60, and it has that lived-in feel to it. We aren't like those huge city hospitals with thousands of beds. We are smaller and more local. The staff knows most of the people who come in by name. We spend our shifts moving between the wards and the delivery room. There is a lot of paperwork, naturally, and the phones never seem to stop ringing. We just try to keep things moving as best as we can. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time. People come here because it’s familiar and it’s right here in the community near the temple. We just do the work that needs doing every single day.
