Dr Javed Veterinary Clinic

Down here in Raikhad, life moves at its own pace. Dr Javed Veterinary Clinic is located at 1361 Tokarsha Pol, which is one of those spots where everyone knows their neighbor. If you haven't been to Tokarsha Pol before, it’s a bit of a maze, but that’s the charm of this part of town. We spend our days dealing with all sorts of animals. Mostly it's dogs and cats, but in a place like Raikhad, you never quite know what might come through the door. The clinic itself is modest. We don't have a big neon sign or anything flashy. It's just a space where we try to help out the local pets and the stray ones too. Sometimes the alley gets a bit crowded with people chatting or kids playing, and we have to navigate around that when someone brings a nervous animal in. The floors are easy to clean, which is good because things get messy fast in this line of work. We’ve seen many generations of pets from the same families around here. It feels like we are part of the neighborhood fabric. When the sun goes down, the Pol gets a bit quieter, and we start wrapping things up for the day. It's hard work, but seeing a sick dog start wagging its tail again makes the long hours in this small space worth it. We just do our best for the animals.
