Divine Life English School

If you head down Vasna Barrage Road in Ahmedabad, you’ll find us. Divine Life English School is right there in the middle of the Vasna neighborhood. It’s a busy area with a lot of people moving around, especially with the barrage road being a main route. Our school has been part of this community for quite a while now. We teach in English, which is what the parents around here seem to want for their kids. The building isn't huge, so we have to use the space we have very carefully. You’ll find classrooms packed with desks and walls covered in student drawings. It’s a bit noisy because of the traffic outside and the kids inside, but you get used to it after a few days. We don't have a giant campus with fountains or anything like that. We just have a solid building where we do our work. The teachers here are local and they put in long hours making sure the lessons are ready. We deal with the usual city school stuff like crowded gates at pickup time and the dust that comes off the road. It’s just a regular, working-class school. We aren't trying to be fancy or elite. We just want the kids to learn their subjects and be decent people. It’s a simple goal, but it keeps us busy from morning till night. We’ve seen many families grow up in this area and it’s nice being a small part of that history. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
