Divine Cork (India) Pvt. Ltd. is based out of the Siddhivinayak Estate in the Amraiwadi area. Our unit is S/41, and if you’ve ever been to Amraiwadi, you know it’s a busy, hardworking part of town. The estate itself is a collection of different businesses, so there’s always something going on next door or a truck blocking the driveway. Our space is filled with the smell of cork and the constant sound of machines cutting and pressing the material. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we’ve grown to love the noise of the production line because it means things are happening. We spend most of our time at S/41 making sure the quality is what it needs to be before anything goes out. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees; we’re a tight-knit group that’s been together for quite a while. The 079 area code is where we’ve always been, and we’re proud to be part of the local industry here. Our office is just a small corner of the warehouse with a couple of old desks and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to overflow. We don't do fancy meetings or use big corporate words to describe what we do. We just talk about the day’s work and how to get the orders out on time to the people waiting for them. Sometimes the rain makes the estate a bit muddy, and the traffic in Amraiwadi can be a nightmare in the evenings, but we show up every morning regardless of the weather.
