Dipesh Furniture

Our shop is located in the middle of Madhupura Gunj Bazar. We are on the first floor of building 250, not far from the Ambaji Mata Mandir. Being in the Gunj means it's always crowded and full of energy, with people buying and selling all sorts of things. Dipesh Furniture isn't a massive showroom; it's a practical space where we keep our pieces. We have various types of furniture crammed into the room, so there’s barely a path to walk sometimes. We spend a lot of time showing people the different wood finishes and talking about what might fit in their homes. Since we are on the first floor, moving the bigger wardrobes and beds up and down the stairs is always a bit of a challenge, but we have a system for it now. The sound of the bells from the temple nearby is a nice backdrop to our workday. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We try to keep things tidy, but with wood dust and packing materials, it’s a constant battle. The bazar has its own rhythm and we’ve become a part of it over the years. It's an old-school way of doing business, face to face, with no corporate nonsense. We just open up, greet our neighbors, and see who needs a new table or chair that day before we close up for the evening.
