Unity Packaging

Unity Packaging is situated at Plot No. 501 in the Dholka Gidc, right along the Kheda Road. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but the space is good for what we do. We handle a lot of different packaging materials, mostly for the local businesses around here. The building has seen better days, the paint is peeling in some spots, but it keeps the rain off the machines. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively while we work. The staff is mostly local people from the nearby villages who walk or bike over. We don't have a formal dress code, just whatever is comfortable for moving boxes around. The loading area is a bit bumpy, so we have to be careful with the forklifts. Sometimes the cows from the nearby fields wander near the gate, which is always a bit of a laugh for the guys. We keep our records in big ledgers because the computer we have is pretty slow and frustrating to use. If you come by, you’ll probably find me in the back checking the tape dispensers or talking to the driver about the route. We don’t do big presentations or anything corporate. We just make the packaging and try to get it delivered before the deadline. It’s a simple life out here on Kheda Road and we don't mind the commute.
