Dhl Express

Our office is in Riddhi Appt, over in Sutaria Colony. If you know the Ghordhanwadi Tekra area in Ahmedabad, you know it can get pretty warm and busy around here. Dhl Express here isn't a giant warehouse, it’s our local base where we handle the parcels and all the paperwork that goes with them. We see a lot of people coming in with stuff they need to send overseas or just to another city nearby. It’s mostly just us and the boxes piled high. The Sutaria Colony neighborhood is mostly residential, so we feel like part of the community here. We don't have a fancy reception area with a coffee machine or a sleek TV. Usually, there’s just a stack of envelopes, some tape, and a couple of pens that actually work. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the drivers who navigate the Ahmedabad traffic to get here on time. It’s a lot of checking labels and making sure addresses are written clearly so nothing gets lost. Sometimes someone brings in something packed in a weird way, and we have to help them fix it up so it’s safe. It’s just the daily life of a courier spot. We like the routine of it. When the sun goes down and it finally cools off a bit, we finish up the last of the logs and head home. It’s not a complicated life, just keeping things moving from one door to the next.
