Our place is tucked behind the Satnam Hotel over on Naroda Road. If you are coming from the Memco side, it’s pretty easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it. We’ve been in this part of Ahmedabad for years. Working with plastics means the machines are always running and it gets a bit noisy in the shop. We started small, just a couple of machines and a few guys who knew what they were doing. Now we have a bit more space in the Saijpur area. We make various plastic parts and items that people use without thinking much about it. It’s honest work, even if it gets a bit greasy sometimes. The traffic on Naroda Road can be a real headache during the morning rush, so we usually get started quite early to beat it. My brother and I manage things mostly, and we have a handful of workers who have stayed with us for a long time. They know the machines better than anyone. We aren't trying to be the biggest factory in Gujarat, just trying to keep the orders moving and our customers happy. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend the whole afternoon fixing it ourselves. That’s just how it goes when you run a family shop. We don’t have a big sales team or anything like that. Usually, people just call us up or stop by the factory when they need something made. It's a bit messy sometimes, but we get the job done without any fuss.
