We are located down in Hathijan Gam, specifically in the Rawari Vas area. If you know the Hathijan Vad bus stand, we are right nearby, so it’s easy for people catching the bus to stop by. Being in a gam area like this means we know almost everyone by name. It’s not like the big city shops where everything is impersonal. Here, people come in and tell us about their families while they wait for their medicine. We keep a variety of health products because we are one of the main spots in this part of Hathijan for such things. The shop is small, but we use every inch of the wall space for shelves. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the counters. It’s a lot of work keeping everything sorted, but we’ve got a system that works for us. We see a lot of elders from the village who need their regular check-up supplies. We don't have fancy lights or big signs, just a simple board outside. It’s a humble place, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and make sure the medicine is there when someone needs it urgently. Life moves a bit slower here than in the middle of Ahmedabad, and our shop reflects that kind of pace. We try to keep our stock full so nobody has to go all the way into the city.
