Dhananjay Electricals

Our shop is located right in Bodakdev, at G 27 Aaryaman Aavas. It’s a good spot because we are right opposite Ashish School and the Saibaba Mandir. You can usually hear the school bells and the sounds from the temple throughout the day while we work. Dhananjay Electricals deals with electrical stuff, mostly parts and small bits that people need for their homes or offices. I started this because I always liked working with my hands and understanding how things click together. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot of inventory onto the shelves and in the corners. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific fuse or a certain length of wire, but we usually have it hidden somewhere. The morning starts with a cup of tea and checking the stock. A lot of neighbors stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question about a flickering light or a broken plug. I try to give honest answers even if it means they don't buy anything that day. My brother helps me on Saturdays when the families are out doing their chores. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. The traffic near the school gets heavy in the afternoons, so we usually take our break then. It’s a simple business, really. We just want to be the place where people can find what they need. It keeps us busy.
