Devikrupa

It gets pretty busy out here near the Makarba Highway Char Rasta. We’ve been set up at Survey No 169/2 on Mohhadpura Road for quite a while now. If you know the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway, you know how the traffic moves around here at all hours. Most days start early for us, usually before the sun gets too high and the heat really kicks in. We just open up the doors and get things ready for whoever might come in. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of what’s on the shelves. Sometimes the dust from the road makes things a bit messy, but that's just how it is in this part of town. We see a lot of regulars, mostly people living nearby or workers passing through the crossroads. There isn't anything fancy about how we run things here at Devikrupa. We just try to keep what people need and make sure the place stays organized enough to find stuff when things get hectic. My cousin helps out when it gets crowded in the afternoons. Lunch is usually a quick break behind the counter because you never know when someone will pull up. The evening rush starts around five when people are heading back home from work. By the time we close, the highway lights are all on. It’s just a steady life. We don't spend much time on the computer, we just focus on the day in front of us.
