You can find Devasya Clinic at Palak Plaza, which is tucked behind the IOC petrol pump on Judges Bunglow Road. Being at number 9 in the plaza puts us in a spot that’s a little shielded from the main noise of the traffic, even though we’re right near Pushpraj Tower in Bodakdev. It’s a busy part of town, but once you pull into the area behind the pump, things get a bit quieter. The clinic itself is a straightforward setup. We have a small waiting area and the consultation rooms are just down the short hallway. The tiles on the floor are a bit worn from all the people walking through over the years. We keep a stash of tea and coffee in the back for the staff, and there’s usually a radio playing somewhere quietly. It isn't a big hospital, just a local clinic where we handle the daily flow of people coming in from the surrounding apartments. Parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes if the plaza is full, but usually, people find a spot. We don't have a big receptionist desk with a computer system that’s state-of-the-art; we mostly just use our notebooks and a basic phone. It’s a comfortable, normal place to work. We see a lot of the same faces from the Bodakdev neighborhood, which makes the days feel a bit more familiar. We just focus on the patients and getting the paperwork done before we go home.
